Age 52 Lakewood
I began running on a dare that I
could not run a marathon. The
first L.A marathon was a month
after I had ran my first marathon.
Feeling that I was in shape,
I signed up for the L.A. marathon.
The course was unbelievable from
the beginning at the Sports Arena
through China town…finishing at
The crowd was so amazing, never
had I experienced so many people
cheering and having fun. I have
now run 57 marathons, but L.A. has been a special part of my life now for 25 years. I feel
blessed to be able to show up at the starting line each year, and I thank all the other
Legacy members who have made it fun.
